Support us
We are volunteer-run. The most valuable thing you can give us is usually not money.
Cook something and pass it on
The single most effective thing anyone has done for this project is to make a recipe from the cookbook and serve it to someone who did not know it was vegan. That conversation does more than a pamphlet.
Volunteer
We need help across design, social media, writing, community organising, translation, and outreach to Jain organisations and sadhus/sadhvis. If you have a skill and a few hours, write to us.
Support Luvin Arms
Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary sponsored the Ahimsa cookbook. Founded in 2015 by Shaleen and Shilpi Shah, it rescues the lives of the most abused farmed animals and provides them with a safe and loving home. Luvin Arms has rescued over 850 lives since 2015 and spared more than 350,000 through its education programmes. They are a registered 501(c)(3), and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Share the cookbook
Ahimsa is free. Send it to your family WhatsApp group, your pathshala, your local derasar or temple committee. It was made to be given away.
All of life is just like me. I want to live. So do all, all living beings. The instinct of self-preservation is universal. Every animal being clings to life and fears death. Each of us wants to be free from pain. So let me carry out all of my activities with great care not to be harmful to any living being.
